Do you dream of going on a travel adventure? A lot of people do, a lot of people love the idea of heading out on the open road or perhaps boarding a plane to an unknown and unexplored destination. It’s a romantic, somewhat intoxicating idea and it’s easy to get swept up inside all the possibilities that lie ahead. But there’s a problem. Or, more than likely, there are a few problems that are stopping you from pursuing this dream and pushing you to stay exactly where you are, away from an exciting adventure.
Well, on this article, we’re going to tackle the issues that you might be facing head-on and make sure they don’t stop you from living your travel dream.
No One To Go With
Okay, you don’t have anyone to travel with. The answer to this issue is essential, so what? There’s no set rule that says you need to travel with someone and the reality is that you might actually have a better time flying solo. The problem with traveling with someone is that they might not have the same goals as you. You might want to hit the beach, they might want to relax at the hotel. You might want to check out the museums, they might want to check out the spas. You see the issue? We all have a unique personality and our own reason for wanting to travel. If your reasons don’t match the person you’re traveling with it can be frustrating and get old very quickly.
But perhaps you are a sociable person and just want some companionship on the road. Well, there are apps that let you connect with and meet fellow travelers like you. Using these apps, you can find people who are going to be in the destination you are visiting beforehand. Wait, aren’t these dating apps? That is a possibility, but there are apps for connecting with travel friends too. That said you will find that going solo can be very rewarding and essentially, help you find yourself.
No Money Right Now
Maybe you don’t have any money for your travels right now. The first option here would be to save and spend a year or so gathering together funds for your journey. Sound like a good idea? It can be, but the problem with saving is that you tend to just constantly save and save and save. No matter how much you have in your account, you won’t have enough. Don’t get the wrong idea, you’ll quickly make enough for your travels. But now you’ll think, if I save a little more I could go on a bigger adventure. Then a bill comes in, and the money you save disappears. Ultimately, you never end up going on that trip of a lifetime.
That’s why we think it’s best to just forget about the money situation you’re in now. It doesn’t matter, put that to one side and just go. You can do this by borrowing the money that you need on loan. With a loan, you can get the money you need, and this article can show you how. You’ll have the funds immediately and head off on that trip that you have been daydreaming about for a while now. There’s no need to put it off any longer.
Perhaps you just have too many commitments travel. Maybe you are in a relationship, maybe you have a family, or maybe you are just so focused on work there’s no time. Let’s focus on each of these possibilities separately because they are remarkably different.
Okay, you’re in a long-term relationship, and you don’t want to leave on a travel adventure because you don’t know whether they will be there when you get back. Well, first of all, no one said your adventure had to last months. It could just be a week and if someone isn’t willing to wait a week, are they really worth it? Alternatively, you could go together and share your dream with someone you truly love. A lot of people intend to do this one day after they retire. The problem with that is that you might not have the health or yes the money to do this. You should instead do at least some of your travel adventures when you are still young. It’s important that you don’t get caught in the trap of someday.
Someday I’ll visit that country…
Someday I’ll complete that experience…
Well, sadly someday might never arrive and you don’t want that. You need to live for today and forget about what could or couldn’t happen tomorrow.
The same could be true if you have a family. You can take them with you. You can share this experience with them and make adventures family vacations each and every summer or as many summers as you can afford. Yes, you’ll have to save in other places, but if you really want to travel, that is going to be worth it. It’ll be worth getting that experience and cut back in areas that don’t matter as much to you, whatever those areas may be.
Or finally, there could be work commitments that you feel tied too. If you’re at the point in your career where you are on a low salary, do take the holidays you get because otherwise, you will quickly burn out under the pressure and the stress. You won’t get that many a year, and you should consider whether that work model even suits you. Remember, these days there are lots of alternative possibilities like freelancing.
The other option would that you’re at the point where you’re making a great salary. If that’s the case, congratulations, you will already be in a position where you can make a fortune and get those long holidays. Again, use them. Don’t get tied down to the office life. It’s not worth it, it isn’t rewarding, and no matter how much you love your job, everyone needs a break every so often.
We hope this allows you to break through the roadblocks currently stopping you from traveling.
